Beyond Repair - Original Rug

We found this rug on a buy in Florida. It was originally woven in Sweden, c. 1960's.

The warp was slightly broken when we bought it. It looked repairable (and we tried), however, the holes really opened up after cleaning. Once we began patching, thoughts of labor vs. value entered the conversation. The hours to repair it would outweigh the current market value. 

It was destined for our annual Spring Studio Sale, when Mae asked us to collaborate!
